Frank Brewer - CEO
Frank Brewer is CEO and co-founder of NextGen Security. Prior to the launching of NextGen, Frank served as the CEO of FirstService Security where he led global security operations for two of FirstService’s major security brands – Intercon, a premier provider of electronic and physical security in Canada, and Security Services and Technologies (SST), a global leader in security system design, implementation, and integration in the United States. Prior to his role as CEO of FirstService Security, Frank served as Founder and CEO of SST, where under his leadership, and through organic growth and subsequent acquisitions, grew the company from 0 to $200M.
Dwight Smith - Sr VP Finance & Admin
Dwight Smith is a founding principal and has been a veteran of the electronic security industry for nearly 20 years, with strong experience in nearly every facet of the business, from field operations to financial management. As Sr VP of Finance & Administration at NextGen Security, Dwight has direct oversight of daily financial activities, procurement, information systems, human resources & administration, and shares with the executive group the mission of making safety a top priority on every single project.
Ryan Rieger - VP Chemical & Energy
Ryan Rieger is a founding principal and Vice President of NextGen Security and responsible for company’s Petrochemical & Energy Division. Ryan has been in the security integration business for 18+ years and has dedicated much of that time working with major companies in the chemical, oil & gas, and energy/utility sectors both in the US and abroad.
Ryan is an expert in the physical security requirements needed for facilities affected by MTSA, CFATS, and NERC CIP regulations as well as what it takes to deliver and service these systems in a heavy industrial and safety focused environment. Working out of the Exton, PA office Ryan oversees a dedicated national team of account management, operational, engineering, and service.
Ryan Loughin - President
Ryan Loughin is President and co-founder of NextGen Security. Ryan has enjoyed a career in the physical security industry for over 15 years and has been around security nearly his entire life. Loughin grew up in a family of security professionals and knew it was a path he wanted to pursue at a relatively early age.
Ryan began his professional career at Security Services & Technologies (SST), a well-respected regional integrator at the time, and grew with the company through their transformation into a national provider of higher end security solutions. During his 12 years with SST Ryan performed many different functions for the company but most notably was his founding of their Petrochemical & Energy Division. Ryan developed this specialized department within SST and grew it into a major security provider to some of the world’s largest chemical, energy and oil & gas companies.
Steve Greis - VP SouthWest Region
Steven Greis is a founding principal and is the Vice President of NextGen Security and is responsible for the company’s South West Region. Steven has served in the security integration industry for 15 years and is considered by many a subject matter expert in physical security. Steven is board certified as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) and Physical Security Professional (PSP) and is an active member of the Energy Security Council, and ASIS International.
During his career, Steven has worked with many of world’s largest companies to develop and implement physical security programs. As a resident of Houston, TX Steven specializes in Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Higher Education security.
Clayton Brewer – VP NorthEast Region
Clayton Brewer is a Vice President of NextGen Security and is responsible for the company’s North East Division. Clayton has served in the electronic security industry for 6 years and is responsible for the strategic oversight and management of the operations, engineering, and sales departments.
Based in Exton, PA, Clayton is accountable for developing the North East sales and account management team and propelling the business forward, as well as, working closely with the operations, engineering, and service teams to deliver on projects for customers with excellence. In his time with NextGen, Clayton has been instrumental in establishing the North East Division and successfully developing and implementing physical security programs and operational procedures for some of the nation’s largest companies within Healthcare, Food Manufacturing, and Higher Education verticals.
Chris Cundey - Director of Operations, Petrochemical & Energy
Chris joined NextGen Security at inception as Director of Operations of the Petrochemical & Energy Division and has over 17 years’ experience in the regulated security sector, and over 20 years in the integration industry. Chris holds numerous security system certifications and is well versed on the CFATS, MTSA and NERC-CIP regulations.
Chris’s primary focus is the delivery of highly complex integrated security solution to our valued clients, while emphasizing quality, communications and most important, safety.
Prior to NextGen Chris held a number of operational management and quality assurance positions for Security Services & Technologies.
Mike Ficco - Director of Engineering, Petrochemical & Energy
Michael Ficco has been active in the security industry since 1995. Michael’s work experience has consisted of Technician, Lead Technician, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Applications Engineering Manager and currently Director of Engineering. Mike has extensive knowledge and experience in the CFATS since 2005 and CIP since 2011 regulated environments.
Daniel Purcell, MCP, PSP- Director of Operations & Engineering, SouthWest Division
Daniel who is originally from New Zealand has more than 20 years experience in the electronic security industry spanning over three countries, and has experience in hundreds of different security solutions and systems.
Daniel’s extensive experience covers everything from basic single site card access systems, to fully integrated multi-system global platforms with dedicated Emergency Operations Centers for command and control.
Daniel manages a team of experienced systems designers that under his guidance, generate industry leading systems designs that not only meet site threat requirements, but also take into account the end users ease of use and flexibility of the proposed systems.
