What we’re looking for: 

NextGen Security is seeking a Vice President, West Engineering to join our fast growing and dynamic team. 

 

What you’ll be doing: 

The responsibilities of this position will involve leading and supervising a team of engineers as they develop, test, modify, and create solutions to technical problems. 

 

  • Manages all System Design Managers, System Designers, Deployment Engineers and System Support resources for each region of the West Division 
  • Assists in pre-sales and post-sales engineering needs for projects and quotes 
  • Research and implement new technologies & product lines 
  • Oversee technical support to operations and service resources, serve as highest level engineering escalation as needed 

 

What you bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering 
  • Experience in management, operations, and leadership. 

 

Additional Skills: 

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally in both written and verbal manner to customers, vendors and to those within the company.  
  • Must possess a positive attitude and be willing to interact with customers, co-workers and other personnel at all times.  
  • Strong problem-solving abilities 
  • Ability to collaborate with many other teams 
  • Ability to create a set of qualifications for a new product
