As referenced in our previous blog, the TIPS #250101 Contract that has been awarded to NextGen for is a cooperative purchasing agreement focused on Safety Equipment, Supplies, and Services, which includes solutions like access control, video surveillance, weapons detection, and other security-related technologies. This translates into an ideal opportunity for all those eligible entities to take advantage of our best-in-class services and security solutions at a significant cost savings. In addition, a TIPS (The Interlocal Purchasing System) contract helps guarantee compliance through a structured and transparent procurement process that aligns with state and federal regulations.

The scope of our TIPS Contract award spans security services and technologies including design, installation, access control, video surveillance, weapons detection, optical entry systems/turnstiles, and more. All of these security technolgies are instrumental in protecting people and property for eligible TIPS contract users.

Eligible users include:

· K–12 school districts and charter schools

· Colleges and universities (both public and private)

· Cities, municipalities, and counties

· State agencies and emergency service districts including fire departments and EMS providers

· Nonprofit organizations recognized by the IRS

· Other entities with legislated purchasing or bidding requirements
