About the Job

What we’re looking for:

An energetic and enthusiastic Financial Controller to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.

 

What you’ll be doing:

The responsibilities of this position will be the ownership of technical and operational accounting for the organization, including management oversight of the accounting team. The standard work hours for this employee are 8:30 AM – 5 PM, Monday-Friday in our corporate office in Exton, PA.

 

This position is one we hold in high regard in order to provide the level of service excellence our customers, vendors, and partners expect and deserve.  Specific duties to include:

 

  • Build and mentor an engaged, high-performing accounting team, setting up a durable and scalable organizational model
  • Oversee day to day management needs and task distribution to ensure smooth operations and achievement of KPI’s. Maintain a positive and collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, revenue recognition, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets
  • Deliver on-time, accurate, and effective monthly accounting close process and financial reporting
  • Maintain a strong focus on the balance sheet, reviewing and approving accruals, allocations, and reconciliations
  • Forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances.
  • Utilize strong technical accounting knowledge to evaluate, develop, and implement agreed-upon enhancements to accounting policies and procedures, in conjunction with the goals and objectives of the Company.
  • Coordinate external audit requests, tax, insurance and surety reporting; liaise with auditors and tax advisors to resolve issues and deliver audit-ready schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory filing requirements, state and local tax provisions, and regulatory reporting in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Support of banking relationships including lender reporting requirements

 

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor or equivalent degree in finance/accounting required, master’s degree preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years of experience in a management role supervising multiple employees
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
