What we’re looking for:
We are seeking an electronic security installation technician to join our fast-growing and dynamic team.
What you’ll be doing:
This position will train locally to the Miramar, FL location before starting to extensively travel to customer sites.
What you bring to the table:
Installing and maintaining:
- Enterprise-level access control systems.
- Intrusion detection systems (IDS), both fiber and copper based.
- Enterprise-level video management systems (IP-based).
- Networking and IT knowledge.
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle.
- Superior problem solving and communication skills.
- Familiarization with local electronic security codes and industry standards.
- Understanding and ability to work safely in a chemical plant environment.
- Demonstrates fundamental knowledge and ability to effectively use hand tools required for trade work in the electronic security industry.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
Job Experience/Education:
- Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in electronics or related field.
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Certifications in Access Control Systems or Closed-Circuit Systems not required.
